How are coops doing on the environment?

As part of our exhibition stand at cooperatives congress in June, we took the opportunity to collect data on how co-operative members thought their own enterprise was doing with regards to environmental issues. It has provided some interesting insight – a lot positive, some less so. In summary most (73%) felt their coop was doing pretty well – stating that the environment was important and that something was being done to reduce impacts.

Notes from Congress...

This year’s Co-ops Congress, hosted in sunny Birmingham at the end of June, was quite a hit thanks to organisers Co-operatives UK.  Sustainable Change Co-operative was lucky enough to bag a fabulously located stand so it felt like we were at the centre of it all.
